It’s not what you say – it’s how you say it and what they chose to hear. Let’s look at this situation in a way that you may find will get you better results when describing what you experience and try to eliminate the listener’s thoughts about the twilight zone and/or mental ward.

When did you realize that something was not right within your body? Are you the only one in your family experiencing strange symptoms? Did you injure your body, like in a car accident, a bad fall; have a run in with thorns, or surgery?

Now let’s talk about the tile. When did you start to notice the cracks in the tiles? Has there been any earth movement around your home like construction or quakes or oversized vehicles traveling down your streets? Has there been a major change in the weight of those traveling on the tile or someone taken up indoor playing like with a basketball? Have you changed the tile or grout cleaner?

Water just appearing on your floor is not normal, look around for other signs of water drips or wet ground under the floor (good time to find an exterminator that offers free estimates, they are usually brave enough to crawl under a house) or above from a vent in the ceiling or on a wall.

Water takes the path with the least resistance and that may be through your crawl space, along boards, and stops where the puddles appear. YOU ARE NOT CRAZY!

Is your house 2 stories? If you have a two story home do you find your shower drain is plugging up and the water is now rising in the shower pan? Sometimes there is a low or no metal or rubber pan but thick mortar which water permeates thru over time.

If you have a single story home is your bathroom nearby? Do you take longer and/or hotter showers so water condenses on the walls & ceiling…it is probably getting into the vents. If you have a fan in the bathroom does it vent to the outside, without any cracks in the duct work?

A very important step when cleaning to minimize Morgellons: ALWAYS LOOK UP, UNDER, & IN TINY CRACKS! I have not found a way to make the organism “stay” in the trash can yet, put trash in a can with a tight lid and put used tissues and paper towels in sealed baggies.

A few other tips: Cover your head when cleaning; the dust in your home is no longer “just dust”. Wear gloves (Costco has a 2 box set of 75 pairs in each box for under $15.00). If working in a very dust place wear long sleeves & pants. Store clean clothes in bags, when folded right & items aren’t thick one outfit (pants, shirt, bra & panties) can fit in a gallon ziploc bag; never put socks in with other clothes…keep them separate. For larger clothes use the big storage zipper baggies or Space Bags and store linens in them too.

See my blog: HELPFUL INFO FOR EXISTING WITH MORGELLONS - learning to live with it is unacceptable...

Now how do I know this???? My husband tore down walls looking for the leak in my kitchen that I thought came from my bathroom. The water would come down my kitchen cabinets and puddle on my counters and tile floor. My problem came from allowing the shower to get too full...and when it is cold I liked having my feet nice and warm. I stopped allowing the water to fill in my shower and purchased one of those walk in tubs…I love it.

The white organism that we call Morgellons gets into the tile and grout (they get into everything!). I have found one sure fire way to get at least the ones on top out. Go to Lowes and purchase a 300,000 btu Weed Burner, use the propane from the barbeque and put it in a small clean cart or bungee it to a dolly to make moving around easier. Yes - FIRE. Mist the tile with something that won’t damage your lungs when heated; water works fine but I like Kleen Free or Ammonia (is there such a thing as double dead?? I am fine with “over kill”), so the lighter objects can’t take flight with the heat from the flame. Tile can take the flame! Our grout has finally turned back to the color it was when we

my tiles are all cracking, after 30 years of not, and stuff is growing in between and covers the floor. And water appears from nowhere. Scares the shit out of me. No omne takes me seriously.

Hi Mary----I watched the video you put up of the tiles....it reminds me of (I cringe just remembering this!) the Saltillo tile I had in my Dallas home. I sold the home in October, but I owned it for four years and as the years went by and I got sicker and sicker...my tiles, along with many other things in the home....seemed to be doing the same. Many chips/cracks/holes began to appear in the tile...which happen to be laid adjacent to an "indoor atrium" I had in the home. The holes in all of the tiles (believe it or not) were almost exactly alike....a pattern, almost snaking around to the center of the circle shape....Very creepy....All of the plants/trees in my indoor atrium got sick with what the plant specialists said was some sort of fungus/disease....it all happened so quickly....but it was all so scary.....the house was so big, such a chore to keep clean (especially after my diagnosis)...I was so grateful to be out of it....it honestly SCARED ME! And at one point, it was my dream home....if you can imagine that....the new buyers told me, when the house sold....that they would be ripping out all the flooring, the ceramic tile, the Saltillo, the wood, the carpets....so I felt some peace...for them....thankfully they were financially well-off enough to where they were hiring professionals to do all of this before they moved in....I don't know...it's so hard for me to deal with...all of this...because many professionals would say---they had no clue or "nothing is wrong"....or I shouldn't "stress about it"......and I agree with all the new info on "making our terrain strong" so that we aren't susceptible to anything out there...but certain things...I know are REAL and aside from that...Really, Really fu^%$# up....I'm a sane person...just caught up in this horrible nightmare. For me, I've come to a point where it's not the disease that I hate so much...it's the denial of the disease by the medical community...the majority of them anyways...the insinuation that it's "all in our minds"....a delusion. This delusion, they call it....has cost me the better part of my life savings....hundreds of thousands of dollars...familial relationships, friendships, my health, etc...as I scrambled to figure it out on my own...questioning at times, my sanity and even my desire to live. And surely, much of this could have been avoided, the damage total a lot less....if I had help. Acknowledgement...medical care....etc.... So I applaud you for sharing and I just want to say that I feel for you, I have been there...as soon as I unpack all these boxes in my new place....I'll be able to upload my photos....numbering in the thousands....these Morgellons pictures have made their way onto portable hard drives, boxed and now are somewhere unknown. But I'll find them. Thank you for sharing Mary!
