DON'T FREAK OUT - FIGHT! I dont know of any cleaning product that will kill them but I know they can't hide on surfaces and it makes them pop up from tile & wood when I use my torche (Flame Temperature in Air (ºF) 3450-3500) and they do disintegrate. There are good products that help (see my blog on help) but nothing for inside us and our environment; they must be addressed at the same time.
These pictures were taken in January 2007, the specimen (approx. 3mm x 2mm) was placed in a jar and I started shooting with a Sony 10mp digital camera. The angle is slightly different by it clearly shows that the worms had moved. When the sting is felt it's not because of a bite...it's from being entered.
The "TINY" specs in the background also come out of the white fuzz balls and they are what is referred to as "goo" that accumulates on and in our skin (each speck contains a worm).
I am still going through my 2 Tb of pictures and videos, these are unique cuz the light hit them just right so the camera's eye could capture the worms. I could not see them. They can hide from humans' eyes and most of the time from a camera...but not always from a quick click of the camera.
