The antibiotic I am suggesting does not prevent damage but it does stop the pain.

The first time my eyes were invaded was THE SCARIEST day I experienced over any other body part's invasion; my second is my brain then my teeth and nose...losing any of these would be devastating and permanently disfiguring. I believe the eggs scraping the surface of the eye hurts but the extreme pain comes from them entering the eye from the back through the weakened scratch sites. I had to experience five episodes of eggs coming out of my tear ducts or from behind my eye and hatching before I received my first prescription. For the year that the prescription had refills my eyes were fine but I could not afford that doctor any longer and I went through four doctors that told me "no" and I had to beg the fifth for six months while my eyes were deteriorating fast...peoples faces were blurring.

Go see a nurse (they are cheaper than doctors) and get a prescription ($6.00) for SULFACET AMIDE 10% CPSOL (BAU$) eye drops and use them at least 4 times a day. There is an immediate positive effect and they keep working. I have been using them for 2 years now and I don't experience the days of excruciating pain from them entering my eye and the egg masses are no longer forming in my sockets behind my eyes.

The first use HURT but get easier by the end of the first day.

Come on US Army - we are on hold and need help.

Hi Mary, I have been following your directions about removing the [flaggleys, my name for them] in little circles and my face is almost clear, knock on wood. You know how this is as soon as you become confident, BAM, it kicks you ass. So far so good , keep you posted and belated Happy Holidays. Sleep is also extremely important, I am finding so I am resting up for a real respet and some fun too. Also feeling sory for yourself only makes it worse so I have had to buckle up.

Love Paddylou

Hey Mary, I hear exactly what you are saying. My eyes seem to be the target for these things. I have been having problems with them since I came down with this. It never stops around my eyes and nose. I did have perfect vision until this. Now I have developed bad floaters, and I always have sandy scratchy stuff coming out of them. when I use my microscope I can actually see fibers sticking to my eyelases. I constantly have to pull them off.
