Well I was hoping to ignore it..but thank you Mary Jane..rub it in..just kidding..you played really well..and well..we didn't.

Unfortunately these goal shots..against Switzerland are plastered all over you tube..ugh

Well one great thing..outside of the fact it's like a huge carnival here..the young people set up impromtu ball hockey in the middle of the street on Grandville St..(our main street downtown here in Vancouver)...

and kids are playing drums in the street..it's quite a grass roots thing.. really.

The police are letting it be..they only said "we saw some people replenshing liquor and drinking it on the street"..so would you liquor stores please close at 7pm... and they did.

I mean people are more vocal than usual..Canadains are often quiet, and polite except when it comes to checking in hockey..I watched a woman on our team get a penalty for doing it tonight...big TV screens on the street.

Hey..why stay home when you can share with everybody I guess..I quite like it

It is getting cold again though..defintily mittens and scarf weather coming up.

I heard it was also warm in Russia the last week..where the next Oympics is going to be.

I hope they take home some of this relaxed freedom, trust and caring with them..wouldn't that be great?

The Olympic committe will also need to give an explanation more thoughly re the death of the Georgian luger.

The money makers will always find a way..the bottom won't fall out of democracy..we are in more danger of that than you are..and it doesn't have anything to do with health care. You will find a way to afford it unless you really want to put your elderly and poor on an "iceflow". I don't think that would be humane or kind. Sherry
