I received a monthly newsletter from the Morgellons Research Foundation this weekend. Seems they have a new person on the board of directors. I hope this person is able to make a difference. They are also asking that everyone contact the Office of President Obama to let him know that research needs to be done on this disease. Here is a copy of the newsletter that I received.

April 2009 Newsletter

We would like to welcome the newest member of the MRF Board of Directors, Louise Mandrell. We are excited about her interest in the goals of the Morgellons Research Foundation and her understanding of the suffering of those affected by this life changing disease.

Thanks to a hard working volunteer, the look of the MRF website is in the process of being updated. Please check back next week for the new look.

We would like to ask you to please take the time to contact President Obama about Morgellons disease, so that we can be assured that the progress of Morgellons disease research by the federal government will move forward as rapidly as possible, with oversight from the president. It is through past political efforts like these that Morgellons disease has received attention from the federal government. Information about contacting president Obama can be seen below.
