A friend of mine thinks now that she may have the bug. I gave her advice and told her what i was doing but she will not believe anything without a diagnosis. Does anyone know of a doctor right now that is treating or even seeing Morgellons patients?

In my situation I am clean but realize that I have to be careful what I eat. I began to have a mild itch so went to my doctor today. It seems that the fungus began to take over slightly as he noticed the white spots on my upper pallet. He gave me a prescription for anti-fungus medication. He told me to swirl it in my mouth before swallowing it. I guess that fungus is latent in my body so I will always have to be careful of how much dairy I use and bread, sugar, etc.

Dear Rene,
Go to morgellons focus.com Pmela Mae's site..she's been working on the doctor thing for some time. You can find her on Mel's "how I cured Morgellons too.
She didn't find me one in Vancouver but got Mel's doctor(Dr. Zamboni) to call him..after which he announced that it was a "real" disease. Still didn't know how to treat it though. doctors have been told not to use the word Morgellons so it's doubtful she will get a diagnosis..but I believe one person on this site did..can't remember her name though. Still didn't help re getting better. It's a process and most people come to the realization by matching their symptoms..which is what doctors do too. some people are of the mind that if there is no cure then why bother diagnosing it..ie it won't help the person.
if the skin lesions are extremelhy painful and they recure..son't go away and stay away..and you read descriptions, see pictures and can match them then you most likely have Morgellons..then you wend your way through much information to try to find something that helps. What am i saying you know that Rene..but she will have to find out for herself. There are many nasty fungi starting to pop up making people really sick..and a new toxin the Chinese put in their leather couches for export..mostly to Europe..that made people VERY sick..little pellets punched through the leather to supposedly stop mold from growing when they were shipped. it was on the CBC news last night. The fungus originally that showed up in avery nasty form cryptosporum..something gatii..morphed into a real nasty on the east coast of Vancouver Island and is following Ig down the coast..getting more lethal as it moves south(25% mortality). They think it's getting transported on tires and shoes..it originally was in douglas fir trees and arbutus and soil..but is now airborn..so yes you guessed it if the wind blows some spores your way....bad news..and the prevailing winds are west to east. We have to do the best we can but it would sure be nice if agribusiness backed off the GMO's(modified bacterium can exchange genes with gut bacterium) and using fungus as insecticides. They won't do it willingly though..resist labelling GMO's tooth and nail..so a who new oversight structure needs to be created since the Bush admin let the old one die.
You pretty much try things and treat yourself..it would be nice to have a bit more help getting better.....

There are some doctors now who believe there is such a disease and are working with people but they are rare. In my case I could not find one but kept checking doctors out by dropping in to medi-centres with my skin infestations. As I talked to the doctors I could tell if they were interested in working with it or not. I was lucky enough to find one doctor who believed and was willing to read the material I printed off the internet and to look up the web-sites I gave him. He had just moved to a new location and was looking for new patients so probably that had something to do with it. Anyway, he is still my doctor. My problems ended in Sept. of 2008 which I have written all about in my blogs. I have about 6 blogs written to help people as they wonder about it and to find medications that help.
