Comment by Nancy J. Levy on January 6, 2011 at 2:36pm Thank you, Eileen. Much insight and so far, I am drinking the drink and taking the caps, adding them to the topical. Curious about the soaps, shampoos, etc., The only company I have found is Waleda that makes these, but would be very interested in what you are using.
I have further learned about the reach of "Big Pharma" in this country by this blog and those of you who do not live in the U.S. and they are coming up as profoundly pathetic. When I read the responses you, Svetlana, etc., have gotten in your countries from the hospitals and Dr.;s while our "traditional medical" practitioners simply patronize and reduce this disease to "Dillusional". Utterly astounding, no? Thank God we have you all for your insight and input.
Will continue on the train of Seabuckthorn as I am so far rather impressed with the results even I am getting. If needs be, I shall go online and order the 8 oz. stuff for $75 when my train comes in with money.....you know, that secondary disease!

Comment by Eileen Matichuk on January 5, 2011 at 12:57pm When my naturopathic doctor first suggested the seabuckthorn he told me that it had to be the 100% and the seed oil, not the fruit oil. It seems that the fruit oil also works but not nearly as good as the seed oil. What that parasite does is it digs into the skin and during the night hatches new ones that move over the skin. I can feel the tickle when they are moving. As soon as I feel it I wash with seabuckthorn soap. They also get into the scalp so I bought seabuckthorn shampoo. For my skin I also have it in skin rinse to take off soap residue when I use other soaps as they might have oils that the parasite will feed on. When I use make-up I rub some seabuckthorn oil on the palms of my hands and do a gentle wipe over my face. That way they are not going to feed off my make-up. I am working on getting my body up to par by taking a lot of acidophilis and eventually my skin will be healthy enough to fight this parasite off without helps.
Comment by Nancy J. Levy on January 5, 2011 at 12:37pm Dear, DEAR Eileen!
How to express how grateful for you that I am! JUST found a new Seabuckthorn product here and started last night, both internally and topically. WOW -- WOW -- AND TRIPLE WOW! Instant beginnings as the body started to release thngs I had no clue were still there. Obviously, it "discourages" more than the Demodex mite, although that is the primary reason I was looking for it. Put it onto the lesions on the head, which is the "last frontier" of serious area that nothing has worked for. So much easier to clear off this morning. To think you have been reciting this to us all and only now did I even connect. It is not easy to find in the U.S. and appears to be just coming onto the scene --- "fad purchasers" that the U.S. appears to be!
I hope and pray more of us take your solid advice and implement at least some of the things you have brought to light. Eileen, God Bless your little socks! You have become so informed through this and a key player in the healing journey.
Hugs
Nancy
