Hi, my name is Carolyn and I was delighted to find a support group in Wa state. Is there or are there any doctors that any one knows of that can help. I found out that I had this after neck surgery a little over a year ago. my daughter (16) and myself thought we had an awful ongoing case of lice. but these supposed lice would go in my ears and nose. so one day i q tipped out my nose and happened to have a magnifying glass near and was shocked at the moving black and blue and red hairs on it then on my face as well. I called Evergreen hospital nurse line and she told me over the phone that it sounded like Morgellons to her. I had never heard of this before, so I looked it up on the computer and the symptoms matched. Approximately 2 months later my daughters hand was acting up she could not move it very well so we went to Evergreen Hospital ER the same hospital who's nurse line diagnosed me with Morgellons. I thought as long as I was there, I could get this thing checked out. I could hear the ER doc out in the nursing station making fun of the samples i had brought. then while my daughter was standing there the doctor told me (you guessed it) I was delusional. Then my daughter came home to tell my 19 year old extremely bright son. So now my family thinks im crazy even though i have seen the black spores in their sinks along with their hair that falls into the sink that moves all over the place i am losing my hair fast. i have had 2 drop foots and 2 drop hands numbness fatigue and nausea. HELP!!!! I know you have heard these stories countless times and there is so much more to tell but I thought I would try to keep it to a minimum (believe it or not) oh did i mention Severe depression! I am scared mostly for my 3 children. I also have a 22 year old son that has left the nest but has had plenty of contact.
Thank you,
Carolyn

Mary -- Thank you for the input. You are reiterating several things I have said in Morgellons No More, wh ich was interesting for me.

Mary and EVERYONE. If you have not found this and have not as yet downloaded and printed this, go to the main Blogs page and pick up on the "Surviving Toxic Chemicals" or something on that order. the Poster included the entire index for you. I did, downloaded and printed several copies and just finished reading this. AMAZING, in the least and LOADED to the brim with information, recommendations and links. What a boon for us all and we would all be really silly to not have a copy of this. I will pursue trying just about everything in this that is recommended, even though I am well on the healing phase of this. Author is anonymus, but who cares. They so very much know from whence they speak and offer up so much to help. Really critical to get info like this with links to natural resources -- before Congress passes the "Food Safety Act". Once that passes, our days are limited for natural products and treatments are bound to follow! It is imminent, belive me.

Hope this all helps us all

Hi Carolyn...and all that read this...I wish you peace and happiness. Even while managing the organisms that are making your entire body squirm you can calm your mind and set your course toward winning the war even though you will get your ass kicked in a few of the battles.

If you don't have any human support please call me (253-943-5500) and I will be your 1st member. I live in Edgewood, the other side of Seattle, so we can plan on getting together sometime if we both can find a time we feel well enough to get out of the house.

If the people that have known you all your life can't believe what you feel is real then you should know it is impossible to try to get a non-infected person to comprehend what you experience! What we live with is like nothing else in the world; how can something live "inside us" and in the "environment?" I had a University professor tell me I should be grateful I don't have a parasite that is on the CDC web site...my opinion on that is I wish I had a problem that already has a cure.

I write to all the talk show hosts and news agencies, both local and national, and the universities & hospitals but get no response. I have phot6os and videos that I believe hold the answer to this problem...but I have not found a cure. I have not given up and I am counting on the US Army to find the solution for us and the environment.

Call if you want to talk.

Sincerely,
Mary Jones

PS: I have a friend in Vancouver coming up on the 5th and my plan is show her how to manage the house so reinfestation is minimized, let me know if you and your baby want tocome for a day.

Hi, Carolyn,

No soliciting, but if you have not done so lately, tap into my morgellonsnomore blog page as I added a Dr. in California that will do a phone consultation. He is an M.D. and will work with Morgellons, etc. Not cheap, but his name came up on a different site.

Please God, let it help.

Carolyn: If you have not found it yet, please download my e-book on my blog. It is free and intended to help to shortcut around treatments I did not find working and posing those that have helped. It is www.morgellonsnomore.wordpress.com and I just added a Dr. in California that will phone consult and works with Morgellons. As I continually reiterated in the book, I am having so much help and relief from Dr. James Overman's Morgellons and Lyme naturopathic treatments. His are the first things I have found that are consistently helping. The Dr. I added is an MD, but also uses natural treatments as well. These are the ONLY things I have found that help.

May this bless you and speed healing.

By God's Grace alone

Carolyn:

Please...I beg people not to do the depression thing, your not depressed, this thing alters your brain chemistry, depression is what doctors will say, but a right lab will show you what it is. Basically this thing is starving your brain of Serotonin, Dopamine, and other things. Things you need to function. It does get serious for some who do lose mobility and even have speech problems. It's why you are struggling with fatigue and not yourself. It can be corrected and unfortunately, you do need the help of a practitioner to get it under control. Mary is right, the ERs will not help you, most doctors will only give you things that can make you worse. You can find help in holistic practitioners (wellness, chiropractors, integrated medicine, etc.), but you have to make sure they are open to what you are experiencing. I found speaking to them directly first will save you a lot of wasted time and money. You may have to call practically all listed, it's not an easy thing to find. Just don't give up, persistance can pay off. I found my help because I wanted ionic foot baths (these can help a lot since they draw out toxins from the body), when inquiring about them I told my story to the chiropractor who had them and she just happened to also have a degree in biology with special studies in bacteria and parasites. I am not better, I still stuggle, but she corrected some of the major issues that kept me totally disabled and I am a lot more stable then where I was a year ago. I've been told I may not see major changes for another four to five years because when I first came to her I was quite sick with Morgellons. It also took her some time to find all the problems that were going on. This has a multitude of things that all have to be treated at the same time to see improvements. It's an expensive disease to treat and unfortunately, finding the help is even more difficult. If someone doesn't want to hear what you are experiencing or they say things like delusional, depression, self-mutilating...best course of action is to say I'm sorry, you aren't the right person for me to see and leave immediately. I always meet first for a consultation to just speak to them when I'm trying to find someone who may have some knowledge with this. If they aren't open to discussing it, you know you need to keep looking. Do not ask the receptionist anything, just say you'd like to discuss things with the physician first before scheduling an appointment. If they haven't heard of it, I just ask them to look into it and if they are still open in taking me as a patient I would be more then happy to set up an appointment with them. This is something that needs nutritional supplementation, detoxing, and does react better to naturally based treatments. Antibiotics and medication are risky and can make you much worse, so try and make sure they run proper testing first and keep yourself educated. If they get negative test result then be leary. A two year old can see something is wrong under a microscope! Labs I've found that do locate things are Metametrix, NueroScience, Great Plains. Ask your practitioner if they use them. Metametrix lab has a GI test that can help determine the different types of bacteria/fungus/parasites that might be infecting you. There is a common unknown pathogen that can't be specified with those suffering with Morgellons, so according to my chiropractor this is why they give negative results in a lot of medical labs. I guess if they can't classify it, then for them it just doesn't exist.

I am so sorry to tell you this but you have just began your trip into Morgellons hell. Stay away from ERs, they will not help you, they will harm you not just with their ignorant label but you can get any organism lurking in the NON-steril environment. You can probably minimize your infestation by reading a blog I wrote on learning to exist with Morgellons. 1. Protect your feet (especially from hair in shower) 2. Hair maintenance in bathroom only & gather what falls out and put in freezer baggie before throwing away. 3. A trash can is NOT a prison for Morgellons. God Bless US ALL.
