A Good Tip to use for a Soak in the Tub

I found that if you add 1 cup Epsom salt and 1 cup Baking Soda to your bath everynight or every other night for 20 minutes and then wash in it, it tends to help relieve symptoms of crawling and itching....It also has helped to relax me since this is a very stressful time.

Hi Shellie, I read your post about the baking soda and the epson salts but did not start using them until a doctor told me to do it to help eradicate fungus infestation. He suggested an 8 day treatment with 2 cups baking soda and 2 cups epson salts in about 6 to 8 inches of water. After getting used to the water temperature run it until it is almost unbearabley hot and soak in this. I have demodex so am using seabuchthorn oil shampoo and soap to eradicate that problem, also. He told me that I had to do it every day as the fungus begins to reproduce quickly. I began to see results after the 4th day and am now on the fifth and almost clear. There are other things that I went through, though. With the fungus infestation the door was opened to parasites so I had to go on a parasite medication for that. I am on a strict anit-fungal treatment of diflucan and nystatin, also. But I am amazed at how much quicker the skin began to improve with the bathing in these two products. I have had to use other helps as the fungal infestation opened doors to other parasites such as lice for which I used licedex 4 days in a row. The doctor prescribed vermox for the worm parasite that decided to join the other friendly inhabitants on my body. I have used everything that is needed to help my body along the way to getting well enough to protect itself again.
