Here is the direct link to the pdf doc. on the CDC site.

They are suppose to release the information 11/09. Here is a summary:

What is the current status of the study?
Study recruitment, examination of participants, and collection of samples has been completed. We are currently analyzing the data collected.

How will CDC communicate information about this condition and the findings from the study?
On September 24, 2009, CDC convened an external review panel made up of experts from the fields of dermatology, infectious diseases, public health, and mental health which examined the study activities to date and provided advice on future activities.
The panel provided recommendations and guidance to CDC about analyses they think should be conducted on the data. A summary of the findings of the peer review panel will be presented to CDC’s CCID Board of Scientific Counselors in November 2009 and will be made available on this website.
In addition, results of this study will most likely be published in a peer-reviewed scientificjournal and disseminated through other channels, to CDC’s public health partners, such as State and local health departments and medical societies, and through this website.
In December 2008, CDC mailed letters to state medical associations, in case they and their members received inquiries about this condition, in order to provide an update about CDC’s activities. Letter from CDC to medical association (PDF, 45 KB) We will provide an update to these organizations as well, when the study results are available.

We will just have to wait and see.

Jeez, how many people will we loose while they are "studying"..sounds like the Canadian Government. And our lovely government is WIATING FOR THEM!
Have they looked into the emotional toll, deaths, etc
There is no mention of collection of data re scientific analysis and remedies. Did I miss something?
What exactly are they doing in plain english?
This is Jan. 2010.
Do they have a hidden agenda that i don't know about?
It seems they acted a lot faster re swine flu...or is that my imagination?
Sincerely, Sherry
This is so in the "nothing" category as to make one want to scream.

What the CDC needs to do is to setup a committee to examine this panel that has been setup to review the original CDC study which is being conducted on ..... hmmm what was the original study on????

Whoa lets not get all pessemistic (I know it's hard not too) but with so many acronyms I myself tend to scim over things and sometimes not pay attention. I googled CCID it stands for Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases...thats who they will be reporting the results of the study to. Thats HUGE....didn't mention anything regards mental health so apparently those who did the study are saying that it should be going in the direction of further infectious disease research. I think its pretty encouraging, WAAAAAYYY too overdue, but at least encouraging.

I'm sorry to have to say this, but this entire project on the part of the CDC is damage control over the bio-warfare that is spreading Morgellons. Even their current announcement is that they will be presenting "analyses they think should be conducted on the data". This simply a statement that further study should be done. Every day they wait to admit this thing is real is another day that "delusional parasitosis" can be associated with Morgellons.

I have another friend that never had any exposure to me since I started caring for the person in my household who has Morgellons, and that friend is now getting the pseudo cobwebs in his house after getting dumped on with con-trails. And he has a friend up north (who has not visited him) that is producing the filaments with pain and itching.

All of this denial stuff is destroying any possibility of containment of this Biblical plague.

But that doesn't mean we, as a community, are powerless. There is much that can be done to combat it as individuals. And a lot of it is being published right here.
