CDC ON FOX NEWS TODAY. CALLING US CRAZY, IN OUR HEADS. ON YAHOO, ETC

Hello ALL,]

I woke to the new channel FOX NEWS, and low and behold, a CDC SPOKESMAN was telling the test results on us MORGELLON'S PATIENTS. AND HOW 4 OUT OF 100,000.00 PEOPLE HAVE THIS DISEASE. 84% of those people, only 77% reported the disease.

He said the mind is over the matter. we are crazy, they have spent over 600 thousand dollars with testing.  Funny though, the testing was of 100 patients in california, kaiser hospitals only.

They did say though most all of them…

Renee. Coffey

Hello, let me introduce myself, My name is Renee Coffey.

This is the second time I got these parasites. Had it back in March for overf 2 months, was okay for almost 8 weeks, til my 21 yr old son put a blanket on the garage floor to be washed that has been in his closet for months since my first episode. Anyway, I put it in the washer and by time I got in the house, my arm was itching and I had a bite, I tried to tell myself it was a spider bite for about a week, and telling myself no way it can't possibly be it again, I was dead wrong, started… Continue

I think I commented back to you in the wrong place?  Ugh.  Learning how to maneuver around a new site is so hard with my brain mal-function issues!

Have you been able to find a doctor to help you with any of this?  I'm on my own here.  It seems I've read that there are quite a few drs. in CA that believe in the big "M".

You'd think there would be plenty of them in FL, CA & TX, being that THAT's where this junk originated from!

RU married?  If so, does HE believe you're sick with this?  UGH.  Not easy being so sick and having your spouse just think you're lazy and crazy!

hope you have a good day! <3 Clara

Dear Renee,

Sorry took me awhile to comment back. Yes, this has been a rollercoaster since the day my step mom told me she has morgellons.

Yes, this site has already lifted my spirits so much words could never explain. It would be a year in November since I came in contact with morgellons so I am hoping that is true because it means I still have some time left and my family I am currently living with might still have a chance as well.  I did try the apple cider vinegar bath as you suggested. And I always added some baking soda and tea tree oil as well...figured it would not hurt. It did help my skin feel a lot better and looked a little "normal" too. I use witch hazel with tree tea oil and coconut oil daily for my face. Seems to help with the huge ugly ones. I also use the coconut oil for my body as a moisturizer and for my hair and that has so far worked the best! My grandma has told me she uses alcohol for her lesions (she does really doesn't know much about this at all besides the little bit I have told her, she thinks she caught MRSA) and she says it seems to help as well. My mom has MRSA (even before this?) and the doctor had prescribed her some cream (will find out what it is exactly soon) to put on the her lesions and it seems to be helping her a lot, for now.

Thank you so much for some of your story and some suggestions. Praying for us ALL as always!

-I will like to add I do not have any children of my own. But I do take care of my siblings (8,13,15) as if they were my kids and my grandma & mom are basically are my biggest concern when it comes to this terrible disease because of their age, my moms drug/alcohol use...

Renee - overlooked mentioning Green Works glass cleaner for mirrors & windows.  They do not like.  I like bio-enviro.com's premixed formula (I order the strongest solution) because it removes the static field on glass, mirrors, tv & computer screens, etc.  & cleans exceptionally well.  Ingredients are everything M's hate.  I cut it from my budget & miss it terribly because it gets the fibers out of clothes when used in rinse.  Co. owner told me use in rinse is ok so purchased long ago.

Hi Renee - Unfortunately neem oil degrades and the parasites like what's left.  Because nearly everything I do is "on the cheap" I pour baking soda into drain & flush with white vinegar - it fizzes nicely & seems to help a lot.  I also clean tub & shower tiles with an engine cleaner, Jungle Jake (from farm supply store).  It kills the black specks & dark fibers but not the white ones.  My backup for that is Powerhouse (brand) Orange Solutions Degreaser which I also found @ the fleet store.  It contains orange oil, not fragrance, & that kills them too.  It's super cheap but degrades & then they're back.  (I have learned to lean toward degreasers for cleaning.)  I have watched the fibers float out of drains so I keep them closed as much as poss.  Cider vinegar kills the black stuff also but when acid evaps the effect is gone.  I accidently dropped some cinnamon bark capsules in my sink & when I rinsed them down the drain a large adult literally shot straight up. I use Lemi Shine dishwasher rinse in a spray after I clean tiles & tub.  I usually do it heavily 1x/wk.  Let dry completely.  I  spray a weaker  solution of same after shower or bath while tiles & tub are still wet.  It's highly concentrated so need not use much in a spray bottle.  I know it kills the bacteria that makes ceilings tan & it puts a finish on the tub & tiles that does not repel them but they aren't able to penetrate to embed selves.  I rinse my dishes with it as well & results are same.  No dishwasher here so fill sink w/h20 & add small amt.  The Lemi Shine clnr is made to use w/dishwshr dtgt & removes embedded in everything, especially metals.  Clns very well so I add a small amt to whatever I'm cleaning with when cleaning house.  Both clnr & rinse are made w/nat. ing. but use gloves w/cleaner cuz your hands will burn.  M's hate both Lemi Shine products.  Friend suggested cleaning w/pool shock.  She uses highly diluted.  - Jenna

Hi Renee.  I'm kind of on the o-l-d side of life, haven't blogged prior to joining this site and still learning to navigate it.  I replied to your inquiry about neem and because origin came from Sherry's blog it went to her page.  My fingers stuttered as I unexpectedly had to sign out and inadverdently sent a blank.  My apologies to you & Sherry.  Let me know if you have any ?s or need to find posted responses.  Thanks for putting up with my rookie navigation & use of site.  I'm having a hard x slowing down long enough to study site better because of herxing.  The insomnia & hyperactivity of herxing is no help either.  Please feel free to contact me anytime.  Hope the neem helps your symptoms as much as it's helped me.  Of all of the symptomatic help it gives me I think I like the no brain fog best.  My best 2 you-

Hey, Renee!  It's been a busy week.  I went to an all day rock concert on Mother's Day with my teenager and his friend.  It was sooo hot in Jacksonville.  My daughter also graduated from Kindergarten tonight.

The Green Arm & Hammer is in the "Essentials" product line.  They also have new dryer sheets that are very very helpful.  I am going to have to find that clay that you mentioned.  I am still doing fine, but I know that it is an ongoing battle and I can never think that I am completely over this.

Hey, Renee!  The green Arm & Hammer bottle is in all the stores.  It's almost a clear green color.  In the years of fighting this disease, that detergent has been the best.  I sometimes take a half cup and make a bubble bath with a few capsules of Alfalfa powder.  You can get those capsules for less than $15 for 100 in a bottle.  I almost forgot one of my things that helped me get through the itches/bites and was one of the main tools that brought so much relief.  I could not afford to order the clay and I read some place that aluminum chloride is a chemical that has been known to wipe out dangerous bacteria on the skin (like gram negative strain that is also found in Lyme's). Found the product that has both....for less than $3 a can...Arrid Xtra Dry.  The large spray deodorant in the blue can...or yellow.....is has both ingredients.  It brought instant relief, but as I did learn...spraying around your nose and face is not a good thing without plugging them up with some cotton and vaseline.  I still will buy a can every once in  while and spray my feet and legs/arms/back of the neck when I start to feel itchy.

Hey, Renee!!!  It's the other Renee....how are you?  I just got back on here...I have been so very busy at work and with kids.  I hope that you are still doing well. Things have been pretty much under control with the Morgs...thank goodness!  For laundry, I have used the clear green Arm & Hammer enzyme detergent (and it's actually cheaper than a lot of others).  I also add drops of Eucalyptus oil (2-3) to the wash load...or Lavender...I change it up a bit at times.  However, now the Arm & Hammer people now have DRYER sheets that are totally awesome.  I also bought those scented crystals that are to go into the wash....forgot the name...but they are also enzyme-based with natural Lavender.  I may smell like some old lady in church from Little House on the Prairie with all of the eucalyptus and lavender, but I can honestly say that in the past few months of doing this...it has been cheap and much more noticeable that my laundry is not being contaminated or adding to the problem.

Renee, I think that baths are not useful for us – they stimulate the spreading of fungus and bacteria. As for me, I prefer showers 2 times a day and sauna once a week.

Firstly, I make “a mask” all over my body – with vinegar, salt or soda – for 3-5 minutes.

Then I rinse it with hot water.

Then I rub all my skin for 10-15 minutes with a brush using a brown "Grandmother's" soap (a very cheap one).

Then (not every day) I put some antifungal gel for 5 min. (I have ‘Topicrem Body Foam Gel’, France). Finally,  I rinse myself with warm water.

After drying I use an antifungal cream “Mikonazol” on all the places where I have irritations or discomfort.

Sometimes I use “Tea-tree oil” or “Aloe Nano-gel”, but it is very expensive.

Renee! May be you will take something useful from my experience? See you soon on the board.
