Like many of us I've been going to docs complaining about this parasite for more than 17 years. I was told I am phobic/crazy. Now, I've hives and a rash and I'm being told that I have roseaca and there is no cure (no comment about the lesions/hives). - Welcome Laurie, I know all of what you are going through, though mine has not been that long. I went through everything that you did and possibly more. No medical professional can help you as they do not know what is going on. There are many medical professionals now who also have it and cannot find helps either. Some have left their professions, sorry to say, and are as helpless as all of us have been. I have been locked up in the U of A Hospital and my clothes taken away. I did nothing but go in and show them my sores. They thought that I was cutting myself and telling them stories. Anyway, my husband and I placated them so got them to sign me out. It was a pretty cruel thing to experience after all that I had gone through with the disease. They thought that I was making the sores and hurting myself so they locked me up for my own good. That was in 2008. I am well now so all of it is in my past.
