Suggestions for morgellons patients

I have found the following treatments helpful and never harmful. I always shower, using Hibiclens skin cleaner on the lesions. First I make a lather of the Hibiclens and wash all the lesions, allow to stay on about 5 minutes, second wash entire body with a good antimicrobial liquid soap. (Like Dial) Rinse well, wash all bath linens ASAP. I apply an anti fungal cream to the lesions and rub in well. Bathing 2 times daily, morning and night, is helpful. Change bed linens every other day, and use…See More

As Morgellons patients we have a right to be heard. This is a very REAL physical condition, and just because the medical community is in denial and labels us mentally unstable this doesn't take away our freedom of speech. I believe we should all contact our congressman, state health departments and regional medical faculties with information about Morgellons. I have done this and have had a few pleasant surprises. Usually I'm ignored, however, sometimes I receive an E-mail from someone…See More

Morgellons inside the body

I believe Morgellons is caused by a parasite, with similar charactertics to a tick and flea. The parasite ingests blood and becomes larger, like a tick, also can move by jumping at one developmental stage. I have found, what I believe to be Morgellons parasites, in vomitus and stools. The parasites are inside a small opal shaped shell. Looking at the shell one would think this is a tiny seed. (As my Doctor said) However, by crushing the shell, it's very hard, a parasite can be found inside.…See More

I have had morgellons for 3+ years. I KNOW it is caused by a parasite. The parasite goes thur many developmental stages. The lesions contain tiny developing parasites, and will not heal until all the parasites are removed. (slow healing) Applying a Betadine solution to the lesions will aid in their observation and removal. The only effective treatment, Not a cure, is Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate cream 1%/0.05%, RX. only. Applying the cream twice a day, to clean skin, and rub in well (very important) will destroy the developing parasites in the lesions and reduce scaring.
