Permalink Reply by Shiloh Hesse on January 7, 2011 at 7:45pm Dear Suzy,
Yes..I lost10 lb..and then a little..but through a concerted effort of eating(poor me... haha) I've come up a few lb and am somewhat stable.
i did it with blender drinks with protein powder, coconut oil, ground seeds..sesame, pumpkin, chia, hemp, and sunflower..grind separately in a nut grinder and mix..make enough for 3-4 days(keep in a glass container in the fridge). I later added creatine, d Ribose and some kind of fresh fruit..or organic cacao nibs(not sweet), powdered Vitamin C and l-Glutamine. Todays had half a banana, and the last of my frozen rasberries(sigh). You need the stuff in those seeds(EFA's) and all that stuff is anti parasitic pretty much..and you need the bulk too. I have a vitamix but any blender will do. don't over blend. oh yogurt too. You can use a coffee grinder but it's not as fine..and kind of wrecks it. My daughter wrecked a few of them.
I was putting the mix in Ancient grains cereal by Presiden't choice in Canada because it was the only one I could find that had NO sugar..and it's organic. That's another way to go. don't you just love having to gain weight?
Go out to your favourite health food restaurant and order the baked fries with miso gravy along with the giant enchilata. I like burgers too if they are fresh and well made.
And salads with avocado homemade dip..with veggies. so much fun.
I still try not to skip meals but eat lighter now.
I was alarmed at how much weight came off and had to buy a size or two smaller pants.
It will come back, Suzy. Sincerely, Sherry
