Permalink Reply by Jordan Dennis on August 12, 2009 at 1:45am I found some information on Internet about Myiasis. Some of the symptoms are similar to Morgellons. Could Morgellons possibly be caused by flies? Recent chemicals, overuse of pesticides and alteration of plants is a newly environmental factor. Google in Myiasis and check out the information. I think you will find it interesting. Best Wishes.

Permalink Reply by Jeanne Cromer on August 12, 2009 at 11:20pm I got this from a boyfriend in the mosquito abatement industry. He sells supplies to all the districts. He goes to Florida and all over California and other states.
He has the bumps and sores but not as bad as I . Also, he seems to think its just bed bugs from hotel rooms. I ve been diagnosed with scabies several times and called delusional. It is contagious.

That's a good question. I have thought that my condition might be caused by the fungal fly. They live in moist houseplant soil, kitchen sink drains, garbage cans, and rotting plants outside from too much moisture. The flies I see are pale brown, but my place of work has an infestation of little black flies that look like fruit flies.

Your observation about your sleep over is quite significant. Please let us know if your friend ends up infected.
I had a friend visit for a day and he ended up itching for a couple of days just from sitting in my living room.
It would be good if others would comment on both ethics and contagion experience.
